When I've discovered 'Inner' by Sean Scully, it was like reading thoughts that I couldn't formulate myself. Everything from my first experiences with plant dyes to the design itself went so smoothly, that I've almost didn't realize when everything happened.
This sweater is confortable, resistant, warm and surprisingly soft for a rustic wool. Definitely not itchy. While I was knitting it, I was thinking at artists working in sometimes cold studios, spending time outside in search of inspiration and materials, building a better world for all of us.
The 'Inner artist' collection is entirely designed for minimal processed wool, sourced from carefully choosen small producers. The palette is a combination of natural shades and plant-based dyes. I make myself the dyes in my home studio, most of them are obtained from material foraged around the house or remains from my kitchen that otherwise would be discarded (avocado stones, onion skins, tea, coffee ground...).
Composition: 100% minimal processed wool.
Cleaning: hand wash in lukewarm water with an adapted soap for wool (neutral ph)
Sizes: From XS to L, made to order based on your measurements and desired ease. Recommended fit - slightly oversized. The modified saddle shoulder is very flattering for different body shapes and works for both women and men.
Each piece is unique, made to order. It takes me two to four weeks to dye the wool and knit this sweater by hand. Before placing an order, please contact me at (firstname.lastname@example.org); I'll give you precise informations about the waiting time, shipping costs and color options.
The sweater comes with a handmade protection bag and a lavender cushion. In the package you will always find a small surprise. If you offer it as a gift, please let me know.
By choosing to buy from a small business you are proudly supporting a sustainable approach of life and fashion. Thank you!
