Testing opportunities on Ravelry

Quintessence is the fourth design of my series ‘By the Sea’. Cozy, easy to wear, simple with a twist and some unexpected details, perfect to knit and to wear during long winter nights. And days. Allying comfort, timeless elegance and interest.

Available in nine sizes, from 80 to 162cm / 31,75 to 63,75in. Please see the schematics for more details about final dimensions.

The pattern contains directions for three silhouettes (boxy, hourglass and reverse hourglass) and three collar variants (crewneck, mock turtleneck and a combination of both). The cable pattern is only charted.

You can buy the pdf pattern on Ravelry here or, if you don't have a Ravelry account, click here.

Tendresse, a cape / poncho with inset pockets, a big hood and lots of tassels, the perfect accessory for walking on the beach, in the forest, in the park or around the city. Inspired by simple, traditional working garments from different corners of the world, (the fisherman coat, the Japanese Buku Zukin and the belts with tassels from the Yao communities in Vietnam, Laos and China), designed in Bio Shetland from BC Garn, this is my contribution to the lovely Make the Fair Way Project Club by Yarnz. The kit will be launched at Breidagen, samples will be visible at Yarnz' booth and I'll be around for asking questions and provide support if necessary. See more on Yarnz' webshop and make it yours, with or without tassels, intarsia, knitted embroidery stitch, pockets... I love seeing one of a kind interpretations of my designs!

A luxury comfortable oversized sweater/tunic with knit and purl texture, cables and a some basic lace for experienced knitters that enjoy variety and some surprises. Definitely not a mindless project. Worked in Garthenor no 3 (heavy DK or light worsted weight) in three colors, but it works very well plain or in only two.
